The Religious Education Committee in conjunction with the minister, student minister, DRE, and Fellowship committee organizes classes and groups for adults in the First Parish community. In the past classes have included: Spiritual Autobiography, UUs and Prayer and Sacred Texts. Please check our newsletter, The Arbella, for specific details and times on all classes and groups.
New UU - People who are new to Unitarian Universalism are especially invited to a four session class held twice a year on Sunday mornings, beginning the week following the newcomer breakfast. Members of the group begin by sharing what brought them to the church, and then the class covers UU history, beliefs, and organizational structure. This is an excellent way for newcomers to meet others. Contact Rev. Mark Harris.
Great classes and workshops to meet a variety of religious education interests are being planned by our minister, student minister, and DRE. Stay tuned to the newsletter to learn more about these opportunities.
